About Preeti Sharma

I built SkillsOrbit
because I lived it.

I know what it feels like to want to build a life in Germany and not know where to start. I studied German Studies, fell in love with the culture, and made Germany my home. That journey never left me.

Before founding SkillsOrbit, I worked in HR and project management at MHP, a Porsche Consulting subsidiary. Sitting on the employer side taught me something most recruiters never see — what companies truly need from a hire, beyond what is written in a job description.

Over the past four years I have guided professionals through every step of relocating and building careers in Germany. Every single one found their place. That 100% track record is not a statistic to me — it is the reason I wake up and do this work.

Exclusively Data, Analytics, and BI — Power BI Developers, Data Analysts, Data Engineers, BI Analysts, Analytics Consultants, Azure Data Engineers, Data Scientists, and SQL/ETL Specialists. We do not take generalist IT or non-data roles. This focus is deliberate — it means every candidate we send is genuinely relevant.
Typically 5–10 working days from your briefing call to first profiles. For urgent needs we can move faster — we have Germany-based candidates available immediately. You will never wait weeks for a first shortlist.
2–3 profiles per search, not 50. Each one is hand-selected and comes with our honest written assessment. Your time is not spent filtering — it is spent interviewing people who are actually suitable.
Our End-to-End model is 18% of annual salary, invoiced on the candidate's first day of work. Our Partnership model is hourly. Either way, there is no upfront cost and no retainer. You commit to nothing until you have found the right person.
We offer a 60-day replacement guarantee. If the candidate leaves or the placement does not work out within 60 days of their start date, we run a replacement search at no additional cost.
Germany-based candidates in our pool typically have A2–B2 German and strong English. For English-first teams, we have candidates who are fully English-fluent with no German requirement. Language criteria are agreed upfront and every shortlist reflects them.
You do not have to switch — many clients use us alongside existing agencies for Data & BI roles specifically. Large agencies are generalists. We are not. We evaluate technical depth, not just keywords. You speak directly with the founder on every search. And you pay nothing unless someone starts.
